Ahmed El Shazli who is a director while he is shooting Abdel Atty went to him informing him that there were a trials for wasting the cotton, Wedad the fiancé of Ahmed is attending the case and she agreed with Abdel Atty to tell the police about this issue, but two of the labors crossed him and they killed him then they throw his dead body in the river Nile.
Ahmed then went to visit his son who is living in a small village near to him where he met with Soad ( the childhood friend) she invited him to visit her in her flat in Cairo where she lives with her sick father . While being in a relation a relation Ahmed refused to marry Soad .
Ahmed and Wedad was shocked when they saw the dead body of Abdel Aty near to the buoy and they told the police about all the info they have ,then Ahmed decided to shoot a movie on the biography of Abel Atty so he went to his village to check his story behind but he failed to do so . The Ahmed find himself accused of killing Abdel Atty and he went to prison, after he gets his freedom he told Wedad that he will no longer be a director and he tried to break up with her but she insists not to leave him .
